Easter is over, but do the chocolate stains last?

It's impossible for children to eat chocolate without it melting from their fingers and getting on their clothes and on the floor. Even more so at Easter, with the sweets and almonds! Remove excess chocolate with paper - being careful not to try to spread or enlarge the stain. Don't iron your clothes if the chocolate stain remains after washing. • Soda water: use soda water to soak the stain; leave it for 15 minutes; scrub with a soft brush or a warm cloth and then rinse. If the chocolate stain persists on clothing, use the following method.
• Dishwashing detergent: mix 100 ml of warm water with 1 tablespoon of dishwashing detergent; apply this mixture on the stain; rub with a soft brush or white cloth; leave for 15 minutes; rinse. Is the stain still there? Follow this other step.
• Stain remover: use a specific stain remover for the type of garment: white or coloured; follow the instructions on the label to remove persistent stains; when it's time to wash, if there are still remnants of the stain, soak for up to two hours in water and liquid detergent.

How to proceed with different fabrics:

• Wool: soak a cotton pad or cloth in glycerine and carefully rub against the stain until it comes out. Finish with soap and water.
• Coloured cotton: rub alcohol over the stain and, with hot water and a few drops of ammonia. Then wash.
• Fine wool, silk, synthetic fibre: the trick is to pass carbon tetrachloride (product that can be found in chemical shops) and use a towel, applying pressure with it, but without rubbing.
